Are you looking for effective ways to save money, reduce waste and find chemical-free substitutes in your kitchen- that ACTUALLY WORK? We will be doing three different projects that do just that, and then some! We will cover more than 10 tried and true recipes that you can use throughout your whole home that will save you money and give you the satisfaction of knowing exactly what is in those products. Let's take a trip back a few generations and modernize some of great grandma's home remedies!

It can be overwhelming to start the transition to a more holistic lifestyle approach. Avoid the trial and error period and skip right to success! No piles of expensive ingredients or tools that you'll never use again, no failed experiments or the eventual burn out of time wasted.

In this workshop, you will get a workbook of recipes we have been using here on our farmstead for a decade and even before that as the owner of a cleaning business. If it passes the test here, I am confident you will successfully tackle any mess in your home! We take all the guesswork out of trying something new with detailed recipes including "how-to’s", “from experience” do’s and don’ts and detailed instructions on how to modify a recipe to fit your personal needs. Also included is a list of our local connections so you can easily get ingredients, and often gain knowledge, from trusted sources within our community.

What you will take home:

Reusable Food Wraps – Beeswax coated wraps to reduce plastic waste (and many other uses). Local Beeswax and pre-washed 100% cotton fabric in many colors and prints!
These things are so versatile, you will want to make more!  Great for wrapping fresh baked loaves of sourdough or snacks inside lunch boxes. I have wrapped homemade gifts in larger pieces of these and the recipient is always excited when they realize they can cut it to fit their needs!

Layered Vinegar Infusion – Concentrated non-toxic All-purpose Cleaning Spray.
You get to choose from a massive amount of provided organic ingredients for the infusion! Mason jar displays beautifully in your kitchen during infusion process! No kidding, this has a streak-free finish! Not a fan of the smell of vinegar? Neither am I. Don't let that stop you from trying this! By the end of the infusion, the "bite" of the vinegar has mellowed out, you have to try it to believe it! Recipes for vinegar free options are included in the workbook. 

Ready to use All-purpose Cleaning Spray - 16oz Glass Spray Bottle - I will have jars of the layered vinegar infusion that are ready to be bottled so you can see the process from start to finish. You get to take home a silicone sleeved glass spray bottle filled with ready to use cleaner. When it's empty, you will have a whole jar of concentrate to refill it with!

All-natural Scrubbing Cleansers – For even the most dirty jobs, in and outside the home! Shaker jar for dry application and a jar of cleansing paste for wet application.

Workbook of farm-tested recipes and "from experience" tips and tricks to make switching to all natural, a breeze! Lists of ingredients and their uses make substituting or experimenting easy and fun! Book recommendations and other resources are also provided in workbook.
