Rustic hot process soap made with our goat's milk, organic botanicals, raw local honey and essential oils. Bars are cut at 4.5 OZ Net Wt. but will weigh less as they age due to water evaporation.
Goat Milk. We have a team of dedicated ladies, human and rumen, working behind the scenes to produce milk with great nutritional value and high fat content. The fatty acids, lactic acid, vitamins and minerals in raw milk hydrate the skin by leaving a protective barrier and locking in moisture, similar to the way our skin produces sebum as a natural barrier.
Botanicals. We grow and preserve many of our botanical ingredients and are adding more every year. What isn't available in our gardens, we source from other local growers. Anything that is unavailable in our region is responsibly sourced from other trusted farms and organizations.
Honey has countless benefits for your skin but in hot process soapmaking specifically, sugars extend the liquid batter phase, allowing for a less rushed process before the soap sets in the mold. Honey is what gives our bars their golden base color rather than a pure white bar. Whenever possible, we prefer to use a locally sourced product, such as honey rather than granulated sugar, and embrace things like changes in color in an effort to give a boost to other local businesses and our community as a whole.

For those who don't want colored suds, try soaps from our "WHITE" line: a line of soap made with organic sugar in place of honey with no extras, just essential oils and soap with a few herbs sprinkled in from time to time because who doesn't need a little exfoliation! Please know, these soaps are more labor intensive and supply will be limited!
Essential Oils. Therapeutic grade essential oils not only provide aromatic benefits but many have wonderful properties that may aid in skin health and overall body and mind wellness.
Tips: Allowing the bar to dry between uses will greatly extend the life of your bar. Check out our Soap Saver Bags in 100% Cotton or Natural Sisal Fiber as a convenient way to store your soap between uses or even use as a loofah to scrub and exfoliate skin.

Our base soap ingredients are well suited for all skin types! For those with sensitivities to essential oils or other specific ingredients, we recommend:
"Free & Clear" - Super sensitive skin, babies and animals. Contains only the base ingredients listed below but zero additives.
"Oatmeal, Milk and Honey" - Oatmeal, combined with double the milk and honey, soothes skin while a 0.5% dilution of Vanilla Oleoresin calms the mind and body.
